Ongoing Commitment
to Sustainability

Through responsible sourcing, support for local communities, and eco-friendly practices, we aim to contribute positively to sustainable business practices within the industry.

Supporting Local Producers
We take pride in sourcing locally, supporting small-scale producers who offer top-tier products. This not only upholds traditional craftsmanship but also sustains local economies.
Reusable Packaging
Our packaging serves a dual purpose, extending beyond initial use. Wooden crates, wicker baskets, and 'Bag for Life' options are designed for reusability, finding utility in various settings long after their initial use.
Eco-Conscious Materials
Our packaging materials are carefully selected for minimal environmental impact. From 100% recycled crumpled paper to renewable resources like willow and bamboo, we prioritise sustainability in every aspect of our packaging.
Continuous Progress
Our commitment to sustainability is an ongoing journey of improvement. We continuously explore new avenues to reduce our ecological footprint and contribute positively to a sustainable future.
We produce all our wooden packaging internally at our wood shop located in the West Midlands. Our primary focus is on sourcing wood from suppliers who comply with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) guidelines. This guarantees that the timber we procure is of top-notch quality and obtained sustainably, thereby not contributing to a net shift in the global Carbon budget.

For softwood sourcing, we have established partnerships with Scandinavian mills. These mills undergo FSC audits and strictly adhere to their respective country's environmental regulations. They prioritise reforestation efforts by planting more trees than they harvest, thereby making a positive environmental impact.

Around a decade ago, we implemented a sizable Biomass wood burner. This burner efficiently converts our wood waste into energy. As a result, we've eliminated the use of gas in two of our warehouses and significantly reduced the amount of waste sent to landfills.
